A Patch Test is required at least 24hrs before your Spray Tan
PLEASE NOTE: Spray tan solution can vary on different people / skin types / tones.
If you wish to trial the % strengths of the tan prior to a special occasion or event, please ensure you have your patch test asap.
I am happy to spray a test area on your body free of charge in advance in order to avoid any disappointment nearer the time.
We want you to be happy with your tan, for it to be long-lasting and stay looking beautiful. Below are some easy to follow steps to help you make this happen.
-
Tan Development - your tan can take upto 8-10 hours to fully develop. Avoid touching your skin as the colour will transfer onto your hands
-
Do not sit on light leather or fabrics until after the tan has fully developed and you have taken a shower to wash the colour guide off (protect light colour car seats !) Avoid washing your hands immediately after having your tan
-
Seat Belts! Remember the guide colour can also rub off onto your seat belt and then onto any light clothing!
-
Bathing - please do not bath / shower until at least 8-10 hours after application of your tan and avoid any vigorous exercise / swimming during this time
-
Prolonging your Tan - your tan can last between 4-10 days, depending on your skin type and care. Moisturise, with a non oily moisturiser, daily and use a mild cleanser / soap on your skin. Pat dry rather than rub. Showers rather than baths also help.
PLEASE NOTE: Dove products can strip the colour of your tan !
-
Fading Tan - as your tan starts to fade you may need to lightly exfoliate to keep it even and prevent any patches. You can do this after about 3-4 days. Remember - Moisturise, Moisturise, Moisturise !
